ABOUT THE PRIZE

The JSW Prize for Contemporary Craftsmanship seeks out individuals and organizations, schools or even entire villages that are contributing to a new conversation on craftsmanship in India. The Prize seeks to celebrate modern objects made using the finest traditional craft, with the aim of preserving the craft for future generations.
